Second Wave Within 2 Weeks

While most of the beta keys sent yesterday went out to conventioners, not everyone who attended BlizzCon 2008 has been invited into the beta yet. This is apparently because there were just too many people at that convention and they couldn't all fit in the first wave. CM Avarius clarifies this for us and as part of his clarification he gives us an approximation as to when the second wave of the beta will commence:

The first wave of invites have already been sent out and a majority of the invites were sent out to BlizzCon attendees. Unfortunately, due to the sheer number of BlizzCon attendees, we could not get everyone in with the first wave. Rest assured that if you did not get into the first wave, you will be included in a future wave, possibly within the next two weeks.
The timing of the next wave will be dependent upon the amount of players that are playing and the load capacity of the servers. Thank you for your understanding and patience through this process. | | | | |
So if you haven't received a key yet, keep checking your inbox, you could be playing within 2 weeks.
